4 and Fabulous!

My girl is 4 and fabulous.  She is without a doubt the funniest, brightest kids I've ever met. Not to mention beautiful.

She got donuts for breakfast and then we met Daddy at Chick-fil-a for lunch.  This year her birthday fell on the same day as our church's trunk-or-treat.  We gave her the option of staying home and celebrating her birthday or going to trunk-or-treat.  True to her usual form her response, "we can open presents, go to trunk-or-treat, and THEN play with my new toys." Smart kid.  So as soon as Daddy came home we ate dinner and got right to the presents.

Her birthday party wasn't until November 2nd and it felt wrong to make her wait that long to open her presents.

We were already in the process of getting ready for church so that is why she opened all her presents dressed as Cinderella.

She "oooh-ed" and "ahhh-ed" over every single present.

It was a Little Mermaid themed birthday this year for sure... the movie, the doll, the pjs, the music box that she had been begging for, and of course the cup.

Once the presents were all opened and carnage cleaned up we finished getting ready.  The prettiest Cinderella.  Ever.

Ever.

I wanted to dress Isaac up as Gus Gus from Cinderella while he was too little to protest because it would be adorable.  His dad had other plans.  Batman!!  Even though it didn't go with the theme he sure looked cute.

We ran into Huddy and again, my sister with the craftiness.  Adorable.  (even if he hated wearing it:)

Once she had her fill of candy we came home and she changed into her new pjs and modeled them for us.

And the next day, as promised, we all sat down and watched the Little Mermaid together.  Even though she had never seen it before she tried to sing along with every song.  I love that about her.  And snuggled a little closer to Daddy when Ursula go scary.

4 really is going to be fabulous.
