Soccer Star

I know she's my kid, but honestly, she's done really well this soccer season.  I'm not sure how much of it is actually athletic ability or the fact that she listens and follows instructions so well.  Let me clarify, this does not always translate into perfect behavior at home, but much like her mother, she has this need to please her teachers and in this instance, her coach.  This will serve her well later in life.  But for now, it's meant an awesome soccer season.

There are several other little girls on the team so this...

... would often turn into this.

And while Ansley was out perfecting her skills, her loyal fans were busy as well.

It was so sweet, Huddy was always so happy to see Ansley he didn't understand why he couldn't run out on the field and play with her.  So they usually had their own soccer practice together after the official one was over.

Sometimes during their "water break" she would check in with Hudson.

And there was no shortage of help holding Isaac.  I had a baby sling but I don't know that he ever used it :)

My family from Tennessee even made it to her last game!

Her cousins Sydney and Jackson started a side game...

... that Josh joined...

... so naturally Ansley did NOT love that.  She was so upset they were playing without her.

Her last game of the season every one came to watch and then we all went to Chickfila to celebrate our soccer star.

She got a team picture, as well as a button (that of course I wore proudly) but she just HAD to get a picture with her coach.  Her coach did an amazing job every week... keeping 3 and 4 years on task is never easy but she always stayed positive and the kids had an awesome time.

Our first venture into park and rec sports went really well.  Ansley is already asking when soccer starts up again.
