I have referred to Ansley as "Diva" since I found out our little Optimus Prime was a she. Several of my family members and even friends at church call her Diva. I almost always refer to my child as Diva when I am talking about her to other people or on this blog. However, when I am at home and talking directly to her she is usually Baby or Ansley Beth. I didn't realize how far the nickname had gone until I had the following conversation with a coworker Friday:
Me: blah blah blah.... Ansley and I were in the toy department cracking up!
Coworker: Who is Ansley?
Me: Oh, that's my little girl.
Coworker: Don't you normally call her Diva??
