Here she is checking it out from the safety of the garage:
And since it NEVER snows in Georgia, we don't own a sled. But we weren't going to let that slow us down so we got creative.
My dad pulled my sister and I around in one of these when we were probably 4 and 2. and we had a blast. I was hoping Diva would have as much fun in the laundry basket as I did. She was a little timid at first...
and after starting up the driveway we realized we had to modify the rope/rigging situation a little...
(no children were injured during this process)
... but then she started yelling "WHEEEEEEE!"
We walked down the street a good ways
stopping occasionally to make sure she wasn't frozen solid
Once we got back to the house, Ansley began a closer inspection of the snow. Daddy encouraged her to eat it.
Josh had cleared off a large section of our driveway for her to stand in, since the snow was so high, but of course Diva wanted to venture out on her own into the yard. That didn't go well.
But after Momma rescued her, brushed her off, and put her upright, she was right back at it. The kid loves snow.
